I like the concept, but the UI could be improved a bit to better suit the user experience and needs.

-on the home page in the discover view, if there are thumbnails of videos, I feel as though it would make more sense if when a thumbnail was clicked on the user would be navigated to that specific video, instead of just the general discover section.

-it seems like the discover section is the premise of the application. If so, I feel as though it should be made to where users can see more content. I see what you are trying to do as far as allowing users to view a bigger frame of each video, however, maybe add the functionality if a user clicks on the header title, i.e. "Today", "Dogs", then they are presented with a grid view where they can view more content of the category rather than one video at a time.

-as far as video playback, I feel as if it would be a great addition to add video scrubbing, forward and reverse.

Again, I like the idea and the UI isnt bad, just want to give some constructive criticism. Beme is a cool platform and keep up the good work
